Bored, lonely and used to getting her way, she enters a local baking contest: Surely a blue ribbon for the best quiche will make her the toast of the town. Putting all her eggs in one basket, Agatha Raisin gives up her successful PR firm, sells her London flat, and samples a taste of early retirement in the quiet village of Carsely. Is it bad that I’ve had a craving for quiche after reading a book about a poisonous quiche?! I made this hash brown crust quiche shortly after finishing the book and it was delicious! Agatha, you did it, you slowly won me over and made me a fan. I also have very little patience for someone who doesn’t fully appreciate their cottage in The Cotswolds! I was about to give up on you, but then I remembered that many suggested to try your story on audiobook. It was slow going at first and, I’m not going to lie, I found you very unlikable. Your book was suggested to me many times, but each time I picked it up I set it back down.
